Enigin Update - Power Conservation and Energy Seminar in Davao City
DAVAO City, Philippines, energy conservation officers from the Government agencies will be attending a seminar on May 26th, regarding power conservation and efficiency.
The seminar will be conducted by the Philippines Department of Energy, Energy Utilization Management Bureau at the Grand Regal Hotel in Davao City.
The Philippine Government is using this as an initiative in implementing programs and activities to achieve energy savings.
The Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) is just one of the programs aiming to reduce the monthly consumption of electricity of the country.
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo launched the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program (NEECP) in 2004 to make energy efficiency and conservation a way of life.
The aims of the program are to lessen the impact of increases in petroleum prices through energy efficiency and conservation measures, promote savings on fuel and electricity without sacrificing productivity, get firm savings commitments from identified sector groups, and help protect the environment.
Enigin Distributors are in place in the Philippines to help government agencies and other organisations become energy efficient and put in place the technology and solutions to save energy and take part in programs such as GEMP.
