Enigin Update - Pakistan Promotes SME Energy Efficiency
A MEMORANDUM of Understanding has been signed in Pakistan between SME Leasing and SME Business Support Fund, subsidiaries of the same bank, to encourage and promote energy efficiency.
Both parties are working together to develop energy efficiency in small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan through raising awareness and promote the use of energy efficient technology and equipment.
SME Leasing Limited are experts in providing financial support to SMEs in Pakistan, with the company regarded as a pioneer in smaller company support, all in an effort to promote the governments’ efforts to reduce energy wastage while increasing productivity.
Under the Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation financial solutions scheme SME Leasing provide leasing facilities to firms who wish to improve their productivity while reducing the cost of doing business through saving energy.
Pakitan’s Business Support Fund programme will assist SME Leasing to identify industrial energy wastage and the equipment needed to reduce energy use and waste.
The efforts of all these organisations look to improve competitiveness of Pakistani companies by enhancing their income generating capacity and profitability.
