Enigin Update - Impressive First Quarter Energy Saving for Cuban Province
THE CUBAN central Camagüey province have ended the first quarter of 2011 with an impressive saving of energy and money through an energy saving project.
The energy savings made across Camagüey also represent substantial environmental benefits, as a calculated reduction of 3,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions resulted from the efforts so far.
The results of the first quarters energy saving measures were announced during a meeting of the Consejo Energético Provincial (Provincial Council of Energy), which is now urging the energy efficiency efforts to continue, particularly as Cuba enters the warmest season, with extra demand placed on energy supplies.
Daniel Iglesias, as Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Administration Council holds the responsibility for the province’s energy sector, warned that even with the province on target to meet its energy saving plan, exceeding the targeted power consumption, and available supply, is always a possibility.
Enigin Distributors in the region are helping many businesses and local authorities to improve their energy efficiency through implementing energy saving solutions from Enigin - leading to energy and financial savings while reducing CO2 emissions.
